Overview
The sequence begins with controlled particle effects—including smoke, explosions, and fireworks—before introducing physical reactions within the scene. Forces propel chairs and other objects through space, while collision systems determine how they respond to the environment. Destructible objects fracture on impact, turning a static scene into an unstable chain of visual and physical events.
I created the effects using Unreal Engine 5’s Niagara particle system and combined them with collision, rigid-body physics, radial forces, and Chaos destruction. The project focused on coordinating visual effects with physical responses so that particles, motion, impact, and fragmentation appear to belong to the same event.
The study demonstrates how real-time VFX and physics systems can be integrated to create responsive and visually readable environmental interactions.
